The previous sold-out festival, set to be held in March 2020, was cancelled due to COVID-19, which has made the organisers even more determined to present a programme of top tier entertainment when the series of events kicks off later this month.
Mayor of the City of Swan, Kevin Bailey, said the festival's return to a concert format was a delightful turn of events, adding:
“Hyper attendees will also be able to enjoy gourmet food vans, a photo booth, free 18-hole adventure golf, games, merchandise and a signing tent for all of your favourite artists.”
Bailey said that tickets sales, which will total 550 at each show, will be undertaken in stages, and the performances will go ahead despite any unexpected impacts due to the coronavirus pandemic. Such events have often been advertised widely via poster printing campaigns.
The first show in the Drug Aware Hyper series will feature Spacey Jane on January 30. The group will be joined by Carla Geneve and Adrian Dzvuke. On February 20, Stella Donnelly will take the stage in a show that will also feature Indigo Ellis, Mia June, Flewnt and Jack Davies and the Bush Chooks. The final event on March 13 will star San Cisco, Arno Faraji and Noah Dillon and The Violets.
All events target all ages and are alcohol, smoke and drug free.
