Members of not-for-profit groups, charities and community organisations from Midland can get assistance with their team building at a special information session being run by the Swan Volunteer Resource Centre this month.
The event will focus on building successful teams, whatever the aims and structure of the group, and whatever the background of the members, in order to improve working relationships.
Participants will learn how to create the best teams, solve problems and keep their team members motivated to perform highly.
With members of a number of different local groups likely to be attending, people participating might like to think about using cost-effective business card printing, to enable them to swap details with other organisations that may be able to assist them or form a partnership with them.
The Swan Volunteer Resource Centre offers assistance to community groups and advice for individuals who want to volunteer in the area, as well as matching potential volunteers to organisations and advertising voluntary positions.
The session will be held at the Old Midland Courthouse on Thursday, May 28th. Places are free but need to be booked in advance by contacting the Swan Volunteers Group.
For more information about the event or to find out how the Volunteer Resource Centre can help in other ways, visit the facility’s page on the City of Swan council website.
