Colorpak launches corporate rebrand and exciting new plans

Packaging company Colorpak has unveiled its new branding to its staff, clients and suppliers at a launch party in Sydney held on Wednesday night. According to Managing Director Alex Commins, Colorpak has its sights firmly set on an ambitious growth strategy with plans to up its revenue by 60% to $200 million over the next two years.



"At the end of June last year, our revenue was around $80m," he said,

"If you think back that in 1985 our turnover was a mere $1.5m, you can understand why we are pretty proud of that number."




Colorpak provides Packaging services and printing services for Packaging, such as digital pre-press, specialist embossing; the firm was one of Australia’s first Print companies to offer waterless printing. Colorpak also recently purchased the folding carton operations of its competitor Carter Holt Harvey – contributing to the company’s future growth plans. It has offices in Sydney and Melbourne.



"Here we are now a year later, having purchased the Carter Holt Harvey carton business and projecting revenue for next year to be around the $200m mark," Commins added.




Colorpak also launched its new graphics division Brandpak which it also acquired from Carter Holt Harvey and will focus on four key areas of Packaging - material, instruction, graphics and finishing.

Carter Holt Harvey is a wood manufacturer headquarted in Sydney and has sites dotted around the country including throughout NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia as well as an office in Perth’s Canning Vale near Welshpool.
