Art fans in the Seaford locality will be able to see in excess of 500 artworks by local and regional artists over the Easter weekend.
The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Frankston, and this year, the main beneficiary is Mums Supporting Families in Need, a not-for-profit charity that provides items such as furniture, clothing and prams to vulnerable families.
The featured artist this year is Donald Bate, who is showing some outback inspired paintings. Bill Nye has donated the Raffle prize, entitled Oliver’s Hill II.
Those attending will be able to buy some of the artworks on display. For the artists exhibiting, there will be the opportunity to win monetary prizes in categories such as Best in Show, Best Photograph and Best Watercolour.
The organisers of exhibition events sometimes use local printing services in order to produce labels for items on show.
The Frankston Art Show – Easter 2026 will take place from Thursday, 2 April until Monday, 6 April at the Seaford Community Centre, at the corner of Station and Broughton Streets. On the Thursday evening, the Gala Opening will take place. From Friday until Monday inclusive, the exhibition will be open from 10 am until 4.30 pm. There is also a virtual exhibition that runs until Sunday, 17 April. A ticket costs $10 with concessions. Exhibition visitors can also enjoy a complementary barista coffee.
