Live 70s music to entertain in Seaford

Those living in or near Seaford who might appreciate an energetic morning reminiscing about the music of the 70s can sign up for a live music session followed by lunch.

Susie King and Jacqui Hamilton are part of BABBA, Melbourne’s ABBA tribute band. On the 5th February, they will be singing tributes to Karen Carpenter and Olivia Newton-John, as well as popular songs from ABBA. The play list might include favourites such as Dancing Queen, Close to You (Karen Carpenter) and Take Me Home, Country Roads (Olivia Newton-John). These powerhouses of pop were all an established part of the music landscape in the 1970s and as such will provide a blast of nostalgia on a summer morning.

As part of BABBA, the girls have been entertaining audiences for over thirty years. This means that they are very experienced in energetic performances that will have the audience up and dancing in the aisles. In fact, ABBA’s Benny Andersson was in the audience in Hong Kong in 2019 and said:

“That was pretty good!”
