Performers who can act, sing and dance are invited to audition for a musical that is going to take place in Seaford.
The Gateway Theatre Company is seeking performers from age 18 upwards to be part of a December showing of Sister Act, The Musical. Interested parties can sign up for a ten-minute audition time slot with ample audition material available to choose from. Approximately 35 performers are needed in total for the production.
The well-known and uplifting story features Deloris Van Cartier who is disguised as a nun as she is part of a witness protection program. She is an inspiration to the staid nuns and Mother Superior, all of whom come together to protect her from the gang that is in hot pursuit. With disco dancing and heady gospel music, the flamboyant and joyful show is always loved by audiences of all ages with its message of friendship and connection.
Theatrical productions may have a cast list printed in a program that could have been produced at the local Stationery printers and is available to buy at the event.
The Gateway Theatre Company Sister Act Auditions are from taking place from Monday 10th August, Wednesday 12th August and Saturday 15th August. There are various audition slots that can be booked. The venue is the Gateway Worship and Performing Arts Centre in Seaford.
