A local Seaford group will be running a market where people can swap both produce and Books with each other.
The Seaford Produce and Book Swap is a local gathering where people can exchange their excess homegrown produce. Items may include vegetables, fruit, herbs, free range eggs, seeds, seedlings or worm juice and castings, but may easily extend to the sharing of skills, recipes and even musical talent.
Hosted by the Seaford Food Forest Community Garden, the swap is an informal day where participants share rather than trade with each other. There is no weighing of produce and no money exchanges hands. People freely give whatever excess home-made or home-grown produce they have and they take only what they need and can use.
The Seaford Food Forest is a community project that has not only created a community garden, but it also aims to educate people about growing food as well as providing a space for like-minded people to connect. Brochure printing services may be useful to advertise this or other community events.
Attendees are requested to bring some food to share for lunch and there will be a table available for those interested in swapping magazine or Books.
The swap will be held on Sunday 22nd October from 12pm at the Community Garden Space in Seaford.Get a Free Quote for Books
