Prahran to celebrate culinary landmark
A party is being thrown soon at a Prahran cafe to honour the efforts of Melbourne-based pastry chef entering a competition in France.
The send-off is happening in Prahran this spring, and the event is called “Send Australia to the Croissant World Cup in November 2025”. The aim is to wish Paula Nikita well as she prepares to journey to the Viennoiserie World Cup Championship in France.
An Indonesian pastry chef living in Melbourne, Nikita is travelling with her mentor, Pierrick Boyer, to compete and try to bring the winner’s title home to Australia.
Contest organisers and awards schemes often rely on expert graphic design services to create print-ready artwork for trophies and plaques bestowed at official ceremonies.
An eatery serving food and coffee full of Melbourne culture, the Reverie Cafe in Prahran is known for its French patisserie. The upcoming night will showcase the young chef’s signature style of Indonesian French fusion and the innovative art she produces. Guests attending can expect an eclectic mix of sweet and savoury pastries served alongside French wines and beers.
The celebration party will now be held at the Reverie Cafe on Saturday, October 18. The cafe is located at 31 Izett Street in Prahran, and the event starts at 6 pm and ends at 9.30 pm. The price of admission is $130 per person, and all ages are welcome.
