Jazz and cabaret performer Mama Alto is set to return to a Prahran venue for her 14th annual Holiday Special.
The show will blend her special brand of vintage glamour and jubilance with Christmas classics in a celebration of the season.
Performing at festivals and in well-known venues across Australia and the US, Mama Alto is known for her critically acclaimed cabaret shows, theatre roles, published writing and community advocacy. She has also released four jazz albums, with a fifth to be released in 2026.
Celebrating holiday joy, the Holiday Special will see Alto joined on stage by a number of special guests, including Georgie George, BJ Shaw, Gio Adams, Max Aurora and Piera Dennerstein. Melbourne-based pianist Daniele Buatti will also accompany them. Attendees can expect a high-energy performance and will need to purchase a ticket for the event.
