Melbourne’s Heavy Choir will soon come to Prahran, bringing their vocal talent and energy for a night of dramatic choral renditions of iconic heavy metal music.
Returning to the iconic Chapel Off Chapel for the first time since their 2023 sell-out show, Heavy Choir and their accompanying live band are set to bring a night of headbanging anthems, ballads, classics and fan favourites for metalheads of all ages.
Established in Melbourne’s inner south-east in 2021, Heavy Choir is one of the few choir groups in Australia dedicated to performing heavy metal and rock music. Open to singers of all abilities, the choir has gone on to establish groups in multiple communities, and perform sell-out shows for the wider public across Melbourne and the rest of Victoria.
Supported by live musicians exclusive to this performance, the Chapel Off Chapel show is set to be their biggest yet, with over 50 singers performing the best of the choir’s repertoire - including choral arrangements and a cappella twists on hit songs from Iron Maiden, Metallica, AC/DC, Alice Cooper and more.
