Yearly event combines three conferences in Melbourne

The International BioFest 2016 will bring three major biotech conferences together in one week, in one location.

On display will be exhibitors from the academic, financial investment and industry fields with the event expecting to draw in more than 2,500 attendees to browse the exhibits of over 150 companies. Conferences that will take place are the IBS 2016, AusBiotech 2016 and Australia Biotech Invest 2016.

IBS 2016 is the 17th symposium and exhibition and AusBiotech 2016 is Australia’s life sciences conference. These will be of interest internationally to those in the biotech field. Australia Biotech Invest 2016 is a platform to promote investment interest in biotech in Australia.

Speakers will include Paul Perreault from CSL Ltd in the US, Distinguished Professor Margaret Brimble from the Brimble Group, the Executive Director of the Emory Institute for Drug Development, Professor Dennis Liotta, and the Chief Science Advisor for the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Professor Sir Peter Gluckman.

It will be possible for delegates to network with other conference participants at the welcome reception and over dinner.

Brochures will be on display and it is likely that catalogues, promotional products, business cards, brochures and flyers will be used.

The event will be held from Monday 24th October to Thursday 27th October at the Melbourne Convention Centre at 1 Convention Centre Place.
