Classical sounds bound for Melbourne Southbank

An acclaimed music venue in Melbourne Southbank is presenting several concerts this summer dedicated to composers from the Baroque period.

Classical music enthusiasts visiting or living in Melbourne Southbank can enjoy a trio of live performances in 2026. Summer in the inner-city suburb will see the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra present a programme called “Baroque Masters”.

From concert halls to theatres, venues hosting live music events often order branded programmes for the public that prominently feature their official Logo Design.

Those purchasing tickets to the events can appreciate hours of entertainment led by Paul Dyer in the role of artistic director. In a single programme, audiences can hear the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Pachelbel, George Frideric Handel and Italian composer, Antonio Vivaldi. World-famous pieces in the forthcoming performances include the “Brandenburg Concertos”, “Canon” and “Concerto Grosso in G, Op.6 No.1” to name but a few.

The Baroque Masters concerts will now be held in the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall at the Melbourne Recital Hall on Thursday, February 12 (7 pm), Saturday, February 14 (5 pm) and Sunday, February 15 (5 pm). The venue is based at 31 Sturt Street in Melbourne Southbank, and the performances are approximately two hours long and include an interval.

Tickets are available at a selection of prices ranging from standard and senior to students and concessions.
