Started in 2017, the quartet comprises Emanuele Graffiti, Matteo Brenci, Andrea Vittori and Enrico Maria Milanesi.
Their forte is fingerpicking and they showcase both original works and covers of classics such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Sultans of Swing and With or Without You. The quartet also has film scores in their repertoire, such as a Harry Potter medley and a Disney medley. The sound generated is a mix of Latin, jazz, rock and classical. The first album was as a hit with both critics and the public.
The quartet has collaborated with many well-known artists, among them The Police’s Andy Summers as well as Andrea Bocelli. A review from Guitar Art World says:
“40 Fingers is one of the most popular Italian guitar quartets today and their most recognisable characteristic is a rich musical setlist, great energy and a strong sound on their performances.”
