Melbourne will be hosting Reed Gift Fairs this year, which is open to traders within the gift and homewares industry. The event will be held at two venues; the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Southbank and the Melbourne Showgrounds at Ascot Vale. This is an opportunity for businesses to find new suppliers and new networks for their industry.
More than 800 exhibitors will showcase the latest products available and these are available for purchase by registered traders. Traders already in possession of a Gift Industry Card (GIC) can gain entry by scanning it at entry. Those traders without a GIC can still register with the presentation of the company’s ABN as well as business and personal identification.
Guests are allowed to attend so long as they remain in the company of the registered trader but they are not permitted to purchase any of the merchandise. Security at both venues will be high and all visitors and stall holders are required to have their photo taken at entry for security purposes.
There will be a number of exhibitions of gift industry items, including Stationery. Exhibitors can attract visitors to their stalls with the use of banner printing and poster printing as well as displaying their products in Catalogues. There will also be a range of workshops available covering topics including, but not limited to, marketing and social media.
