Cupid’s Undie Run, taking place in Melbourne, is a fun and unusual way to raise money for charity. Hundreds of brave runners will turn out in their next-to-nothings or fancy dress on the Valentine’s Day weekend to assist the Children’s Tumour Foundation in their battle to find treatment or a cure for neurofibromatosis. The foundation is hoping to reach their fundraising goal of $375,000.
A party will begin the fun, followed by the run over a distance of around 1.5km, and finishing with awards and more celebrations and partying post-race.
The Children’s Tumour Foundation of Australia is committed to assisting in the treatment of neurofibromatosis, which affects one in every 3,000 children born. The condition is debilitating and painful with tumours growing on nerves all over the body and affecting internal organs; it can cause blindness and deafness as well as many other disabilities. The Foundation also provides support to sufferers and their families. It is possible that poster printing and Signs will be placed around the foreshore advertising the event.
Runners should congregate on Sunday 19th February at 12.00pm at the West Beach Bathers Pavilion, on 330A Beaconsfield Parade at St Kilda West. The run will be held from 2.00pm on the St Kilda foreshore with the event concluding at 4.00pm.Get a Free Quote for Signs
