The City of Melbourne is set to be a light-filled mecca of entertainment as part of its 2015 Christmas Festival.
The annual festive celebration features a month-long programme of events and activities to be enjoyed by all ages.
Regular favourites, including the Christmas Tree and LEGO at Federation Square, Melbourne Town Hall’s Gingerbread Village, and visits to Christmas Square by Santa have once again featured in the event’s schedule.
Christmas scenes ideal for Postcards and promotional Brochures are plentiful during the festival, which will continue until Christmas Day.
Festival organisers said Melbourne’s City Square has been transformed into a magical forest, offering a feast of festive treats and fun for all the family.
Daily activities range from interactive candy canes and having photographs taken with Santa, to discovering nutcracker soldiers and taking a glimpse into the future. After hours visitors will be treated to a spectacular light and sound show.
The changing scene of the 12 days of Christmas will illuminate the skies at Melbourne Town Hall, while a special choir will perform traditional Christmas carols at Christmas Square.
A family treasure hunt, exotic and classic car display, giving tree, markets, food and music are featured for visitors to the Rotary Docklands Festival of Giving on December 6, while the ever popular Gingerbread Village will be on show at the Melbourne Town Hall from December 1 to 24.Get a Free Quote for Postcards Get a Free Quote for Brochures
