The SpotJobs Career Expo will be held again in Melbourne in August.
Organisations are invited to register as exhibitors at the expo, where it is expected that more than 150 exhibitors will display their services to an audience of 20,000.
This is the 15th year that the expo has been held and potential exhibitors are offered access to many years’ worth of statistics and other pertinent information on effectiveness, as well as the advertising and marketing services provided.
It is expected that school leavers and jobseekers, as well as university graduates and more mature workers seeking a career change will visit the expo to explore exhibitor stalls. It also gives exhibitors an opportunity to attract and recruit new staff as well as providing awareness of the company and business area. In addition, it allows aspiring students to analyse and compare courses available for further study opportunities.
Exhibitors are expected to range from the public service sector and apprentice agencies to hair and beauty and TAFE colleges. Displays will include cooking demonstrations, fashion parades and musical offerings. Seminars will also be run on specific career options and educational courses.
It is likely that booklets and Catalogues, as well as Promotional Products, will be used.
The expo can be found at the Southbank Melbourne Exhibition Centre from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th August.
