Floral treasures and landscaping ideas on show in Melbourne
Not just gardeners, but anyone interested in horticulture and landscaping will be attracted to the upcoming Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
This year will be the 22nd time the popular annual event has been presented, bringing together the best of Australian horticultural talent and tens of thousands of visitors each year; along with vendors displaying their garden and plant products. The five-day event will showcase floral masterpieces, modern landscaping and display gardens, with food and drink stalls also on hand.
Charlie Albone, who has won the Silver Gilt medal twice at the Chelsea Flower Show and is co-host of Selling Houses Australia, will be present at the show, along with a number of other landscaping stars.
Gardens by Twilight has become a popular part of the show, and this year will be no exception with visitors able to roam around with a glass of wine under festive lights. Other events during the show period will include the Urban Forest, the Nursery and Garden Industry Victoria Precinct, and Kids Under Cover Cubby House Challenge. These kinds of events usually use signs and banner printing, and vendors may have promotional products and business cards.
The event will be open to all visitors from Wednesday, March 29 to Sunday, April 2 in the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens in Melbourne. Gardens by Twilight will be held on Friday, March 31 until 9:30 pm.
