The Drag Expo 2022 is set to take place in Melbourne Southbank.
Over three days, Drag Expo visitors will have the opportunity to meet both international and local drag artists, including Karen From Finance, the DragExpo Ambassador. They will also have the opportunity to catch up with Ru Paul’s Drag Race performers and watch the country’s national stars while hearing their motivational stories.
Other entertainment includes question-and-answer sessions, panels, tutorials, meet and greets, and runways. There will be opportunities to shop for official merchandise, check out some shopping stores and attend a drag market. Those looking for a break between all the activities can hang out at the designated chill-out spaces. Brochure printing is a beneficial way to capture all the information about an event like this in one document for attendees.
The event is not only about glitz, glitter and glamour, as attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about the history of drag, how Australia has given its own unique sense of style and a powerful message on the importance of being your real self.
The expo will run from January 21st to 23rd. The first day will kick-off with an Opening Gala starting at 7pm, which will finish at 10pm. All other activities will begin on the following day at 10am and will run until 5pm. The last day will have events running from 10am to 4pm.
The Drag Expo is ticketed, with ticket prices ranging from $47 to $87. It will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
