Choir of Man to perform in Southbank

The Choir of Man is coming to Melbourne Southbank next month, performing at the Arts Centre.

Having performed around the world and at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, most recently at the Sydney Opera House, the Choir of Man will bring a show to Melbourne for attendees to sing and dance to. The performance will take place over 80 minutes with no interval, in a recreated pub with beer on tap and free pints for early attendees. Songs will include pub tunes, Broadway classics and radio hits from Sia, Guns n’ Roses, and Adele, amongst others.

A lively atmosphere will be maintained with some friendly arm-wrestling, tap dancing and percussion using beer mugs. Audience can get involved in a sing-a-long with John Farham. Poster printing in Melbourne is quite often used to alert the community to what is taking place at various venues across the city.

The Choir of Man is the brainchild of Andrew Kay and Nic Doodson, who are the same producers of the Soweto Gospel Choir, North by Northwest and the Magnets.

Tickets range from around $85 to $89 dollars. The easiest way to get to the Arts Centre is by train or tram stopping off at Flinders Street. The Choir of Man will be performing in Southbank from Saturday 28th December to 12th January.
