Celebrate contemporary opera in Melbourne Southbank

Opera lovers in the Melbourne Southbank area will be keen to witness the reuniting of Stacey Alleaume (soprano) and Hadleigh Adams (baritone)
for the 15-year anniversary of the first production of the Australian Contemporary Opera Company (ACOCO), at which they were both present.

Alleaume has sung with Opera Australia, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Opera Hong Kong and the Welsh National opera. She has appeared as the singing voice of Millie in Falling for Figaro in 2021 and was a guest of Andrea Bocelli on his Australian concert tour in 2022.

Born in New Zealand, Adams now resides in the US. In a career that truly spans the globe, he has performed with the San Francisco Opera, the San Diego Opera and the Florida Grand Opera. He has performed A Sea Symphony by Vaughan Williams at Carnegie Hall and played Jesus in a staged performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion at London’s Royal National Theatre. He has also performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Both artists will be interspersing their songs with engaging anecdotes on the evening. Their accompanying pianist is Coady Green, and the repertoire ranges from the classic bel canto to more modern pieces.

Brochure printing will often be the means by which local people find out about events happening in their area.

Reunited: An Evening with Stacey Alleaume and Hadleigh Adams is taking place on Saturday 10th August, from 7pm until 8.30pm, in the Primrose Potter Salon, Melbourne Recital centre, 31 Sturt Street, Melbourne, VIC 3006. There is no interval; a ticket costs $99.
