ABBA tribute heads for Melbourne

Residents of Melbourne Southbank and the greater Melbourne area have the opportunity to step back in time and take a trip down memory lane as they enjoy the popular hits of one of the world’s greatest bands.

Abbarama is a modern-day tribute to the original Swedish foursome ABBA, who took the world by storm after winning the Eurovision Song Contest with their hit ‘Waterloo’ in 1974. This success catapulted them into the limelight enabling them to go on tour across Europe and to ultimately achieve international stardom.

ABBA’s catchy hits have been revived by pop sensation Abbarama, a group of artists who hail from Sweden, the UK and the USA. This seven-piece live band has combined its talents to recreate all the hits that everyone still enjoys.

Abbarama’s goal is to bring ABBA’s sound into the modern generation by creating an electronic dance vibe and using state-of-the-art video projections in their performances to make it energetic and youthful.

Attendees are able to enjoy hits such as ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘The Winner Takes It All’, ‘Take A Chance On Me’ and many more. The show has been described as energetic, authentic to the original artists and great for sing-alongs. Organisers of similar events may utilise poster printing services to advertise upcoming events.

The Abbarama performance is set to take place at The Palms at Crown on 17th and 18th July at 7:30pm. Tickets and further information are available online.
