Glen Eira is gearing up for its main business event of the year, and Caulfield companies should think about signing up early if they want to be involved.
The Small Business Month organised by Glen Eira City Council takes place during May and June, and includes a range of seminars and workshops designed to help smaller firms grow and develop.
This year’s theme is Local Matters, and will focus on the importance of local businesses and how they can meet customers’ needs and stand out from the crowd.
General topics include marketing, both in traditional Forms and online by exploiting social media and building a brand, while retailers will be interested in a talk about how they can use global trends to increase their own sales.
The events are led by experts in their field, many of whom have years of experience either running their own companies or working for some of Australia’s biggest firms.
As well as learning from industry leaders, the events are also good opportunities for local business owners to meet each other and exchange ideas. Professional business card printing is essential prior to these events for anyone who wants to create a good impression.
