Chance to improve communication in Caulfield

Businesswomen from Caulfield and around Glen Eira can get some expert advice on how to improve their communication skills this month.

For some people, speaking in public, networking, and getting their point of view across can be hard, but these skills are important for any entrepreneur, so the Glen Eira Women’s Business Network is dedicating its next event to effective communication.

The session will be run by Julie-Anne Black from Be Brilliant Now, a company set up to help people become better communicators. During the event, Julie-Anne will discuss how to boost confidence, master great body language, and connect with others.

Julie-Anne is a seasoned television and events producer, having worked on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and the opening and closing ceremonies at the Sydney Olympic Games, and is an expert in body language and neuro-linguistic programming.

As well as the chance to learn new skills, the session will also be a good opportunity to meet other businesswomen in a friendly environment. Attendees might like to think about arranging business card printing before the meeting, to ensure they have current details to swap with others.

The meeting takes place on Thursday, June 19th at the Glen Eira Town Hall in Caulfield. Doors open at 6.30pm and light refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential, and must be made via Glen Eira Council by Monday, June 16th.
