Caulfield to host learning conference

Hawker Brownlow Education will be holding a thinking and learning conference for all levels of education professionals in Caulfield during May.

Hawker Brownlow is a leading publisher of resources for teachers and educators in Australia and New Zealand. The conference will offer a range of learning opportunities for teachers, principals and administrators to enlarge their knowledge and expand their skills.

Presenters at the conference are national and international experts in their fields and will cover subjects such as; emotional intelligence and its importance in leadership, how to build professional learning communities, the myths surrounding gifted children, how to motivate reluctant learners, problem-based learning, flexible learning environments, fostering student collaboration, effective feedback techniques, and much more.

There will be three session times each day and a range of workshops offered at each time. Events such as this often use brochure printing to create convenient maps and timetables for easy reference.

The conference will be held from Thursday 16th May to Sunday 19th May at The Heath, Caulfield Racecourse. Morning sessions begin at 9:30am. The Thursday sessions will be conducted as institutes, where presenters will use the whole day to look at their particular subject in depth.

Registration should be done online and costs from $395 for a single day. Discounts apply for groups of five or more participants from one organisation and for attendance on multiple days.
