Caulfield residents chance for nature fix

Residents of Caulfield wanting a fun fitness event in the city are invited to join the Nature in the City Hike – a 25km event taking in no fewer than 13 of Melbourne’s parks, along with a lunch break at the Abbotsford Convent.

The hike, organised by Hiked, will be a fantastic training event for those hikers seeking to build their endurance, and will provide an opportunity to take in some of the lovely sights of Melbourne city along the route.

Hiked runs over 250 hiking events in Victoria each year, with hikes ranging from beginner level to advanced on offer. Three levels of membership are available for the keen hiker, and for the more casual hiker, there is a casual member price available.

The 25km event will take an estimated six to seven hours, and it is graded at a moderate hiking level. Participants will need to bring along water, rain and sun protection, snacks and money to buy lunch along the way, and comfortable shoes are a must.

Organisers of events such as this sometimes use Promotional Products as gifts for participants – such gifts could include branded exercise or hiking equipment.

The hike will take place on Saturday, December 5 and will begin at Federation Square in Flinders Street at 9.30am. For more information about the Nature in the City Hike, or for more information about other hikes on offer, see the Hiked website.
