A ball celebrating the Regency period of England is set to take place at an esteemed venue in Melbourne this April.
Event organisers managing formal occasions such as dances and balls, for example, often employ specialists in Letterheads to design high-end stationary through the use of advanced techniques like foil blocking and embossing. This helps to create plush Invitations for guests.
Melbourne’s celebrated Plaza Ballroom will host an occasion described as “the social event of the season”. Entitled the “Ton Ball”, the event invites those from around the city to dress up and dance while enjoying carefully selected cuisine and live music.
While the upcoming ball is not associated with a film or TV production, the private company hosting the festivities have designed it to appeal to members of the public from Caulfield and other Melbourne suburbs who share a love of costume and period dramas. As a result, fans of the Books of Jane Austen, along with hit productions like Pride and Prejudice and Bridgerton, can enjoy an evening straight out of England’s Regency Period.
Offering an opportunity for socialising, the event will be accompanied by a string quartet playing classical renditions of recognisable music.
The Ton Ball will take place at the Plaza Ballroom on Saturday, April 15. The venue can be found at 191 Collins Street in Melbourne, will start and 7 pm and will finish at 11 pm.Get a Free Quote for Books Get a Free Quote for Invitations Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
