An annual event celebrating precious items from times gone by will take place in the coastal capital this coming spring.
Antiques aficionados in Caulfield won’t want to miss this year’s edition of the Melbourne Fair. While held at Caulfield Racecourse in the past, the 2024 event has been relocated a short train ride away at Marvel Stadium at Docklands Melbourne. The venue’s Victory Room will be welcoming outstanding dealers from all over Australia to exhibit jewellery, Posters and prints, furniture, Books, decorative arts, vintage couture and fashion, fine art and luxury vintage items.
Events featuring high priced items for sale, show or auction often employ professional printing services to create full-colour Catalogues detailing items on display, their history and guide prices.
Exhibits at the event will cover a wide range of eras from Mid Century Modern and contemporary to Art Deco and antiques. Exhibitors confirmed to attend include Aromazi Gallery, Albion Antiques, Circa Collectables, ArtsNational, Demigod Antique Prints, Castaway Antiques and Coutura Vintage among others.
Opening Night on Thursday is $30 to attend and starts at 5 pm and ends at 9 pm. Friday and Saturday the event will be open between 10 am and 6 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm with standard tickets priced at $15 and concessions at $10. Children under the age of 16 can enjoy free entry providing they have an adult accompanying them.
