Business owners in Caulfield will be able to access plenty of advice and inspiration next month, with the City of Glen Eira hosting its annual small business event.
The series of talks will see a range of speakers discuss topics relevant to small and medium-sized enterprises. The month will also be used to promote the “think local first” message, encouraging residents to try their local retailers and service providers before heading to large chains or shopping online.
The event will be opened by Carolyn Creswell, owner of Carman’s Fine Foods muesli brand, who bought the small business when she was just 18-years-old and, over the past 20 years, has built it into a multi-national brand.
Other seminars include tips on how to make the most of social media outlets such as Pinterest and Facebook; how to create an affordable marketing strategy; and how to lead a productive team.
With the chance to meet with industry leaders and other local entrepreneurs, participants might like to make an order for business card printing before attending any of the events. Digital Business Cards are also handy for swapping details.
The events run between Thursday 1st May and Thursday 12th June, and take place at the Glen Eira Town Hall in Caulfield. For full details and to book any of the events, visit the Glen Eira City Council website.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
