Hit childrens characters heading for Broadmeadows

Broadmeadows Town Hall will transform into a mecca of fun for all ages during the staging of a free programme of events for children in 2020.

The shows will be aimed at the area’s youngsters and feature popular characters including Peppa Pig, PJ Masks, Scooby Doo, the Teletubbies and more. Hume City Mayor, Carly Moore described the free entertainment programme as exciting adding:

“Young children find stage performances magical as they see their favourite characters in person and we are looking forward to launching these shows with a special visit from Gekko, Catboy and Owlette from PJ Masks.”

She said other popular family favourites on their way to Broadmeadows included Baby Shark and Pinkfong. These fun characters have often been promoted via poster printing at major events. Their appearances in Broadmeadows will be featured during three shows a day, which will last for 30 minutes each.

The programme will begin on January 30 and featuring PJ Masks. This will be followed on February 27 with Peppa Pig, March 26 Thomas and Friends, April 30 Baby Shark, May 28 Scooby Teletubbies.

Families are required to register online to attend each event with registrations for the first free event being taken now.

The Mayor said the refurbished Broadmeadows Town Hall was in for a big year in 2020 with a huge variety of exhibitions and events set to be held at the venue for the enjoyment of all.
