A sports association based in Broadmeadows is hosting a camp for young people in the suburb to learn basketball skills while meeting new friends.
Families in Broadmeadows with children aged between six and 12 can get involved in a single-day summer sports event. Called the “Broadmeadows Once Day Junior Basketball Camp”, the event is joint presented by the Broadmeadows Basketball Association and Melbourne United.
Sports teams and organisations presenting youth activities sometimes look to expert brochure printing services to create informational literature for parents that provides key details on prices and equipment required for participation.
The upcoming camp is suitable for girls and boys alike. All children joining must bring their own drink bottle, basketball and wear running shoes. There will be a canteen, but kids can bring a pack lunch providing it doesn’t contain nuts, which are not allowed at camp to prevent allergy issues.
On arrival, enrolees will receive a Melbourne United T-shirt and can engage in team-building exercises, friendly games and fun skill building sessions.
The Broadmeadows One Day Junior Basketball Camp will be held on Monday, January 19 at the Broadmeadows Basketball Association. The camp kicks off at 10 am and ends at 4 pm at the association’s headquarters located at 1 Tanderrum Way in Broadmeadows.
Parents are advised to drop off their children and return to collect them when camp closes.
