Makers and crafters in St. Leonards are invited to attend a workshop coming to the suburb soon.
Hosted by Lane Cove Council, this workshop is part of a monthly series designed to help locals bring their creative projects to life.
The workshop is open to creators of all experience levels. Attendees can bring along a project in progress to work on during the session. They can also try out a self-paced, beginner project using the creative technologies available at the workshop.
Open for use will be a Cricut machine, a laser cutter and a 3D printer, all of which are also available for use on unfinished projects. All first-time attendees and users must successfully complete an induction before they use the equipment available.
Organisers of creative workshops can advertise their events with brochure printing. An informative, eye-catching brochure is a great way to attract interest and share event details with members of the local community, helping to encourage a wider attendance.
Makerspace Night will be held next week on Thursday, 12 March. The location will be St. Leonards’ Library, 88 Christie Street, St. Leonards. It will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Makers and creators aged 16 and over are welcome to come along. The booking fee is $5, plus a booking fee. Bookings are essential, and registrations can be completed through Eventbrite.
