Organised by the Sydney North Health Network, this two-hour workshop will provide important practical, face-to-face training, with a presentation from RescueBlue.
It is designed for practice nurses and staff as well as GPs, allied health professionals and pharmacists working in the Sydney North Health Network region.
Attendees will learn to assess a scene and check the vital Signs of a casualty.
They will practice performing CPR according to DRSABCD principles and ARC guidelines.
They will also learn how to manage an unconscious person, and how to use an automatic defibrillator effectively.
Within the practical test, attendees are required to:
“perform a minimum of two minutes of continuous CPR kneeling alongside an adult manikin placed on the floor”
Workshop organisers can utilise brochure printing to advertise their events. An informative, attractive brochure is a great way to share event details and reach an event’s target audience.
