Residents of St Leonards and the surrounding suburbs are preparing for an upcoming performance of “The Nutcracker”, which is coming to the local area in December.
The show will be presented by the Tanya Pearson Academy and will run in two acts.
It tells the story of Clara, a girl who befriends a nutcracker who comes to life on Christmas Day. Following the area’s Christmas tradition, the performance will feature soloists and artists from The Australian Ballet.
Performers will include Benedicte Bemet, Brett Chynoweth, Yuumi Yamada, Hugo Dumapit and Charlton Tough. Josef Brown will appear as Special Guest Artist, playing the role of Drosselmeyer. His expertise and well-known stage presence should help bring life to this popular holiday production.
The ballet will aim to enchant and delight audiences of all ages in a captivating festive experience. Organisers of cultural events like this one can utilise custom Letterheads in their advertising.
