Bush holiday activity to come to St Leonards area

Kids in St Leonards are invited to come along to a bush activity scheduled during the January school holidays.

The activity is organised by Lane Cove Council and will be held as a celebration of Australia Day.

Children will have the opportunity to learn about plants and animals native to Australia.
They will go on a bushwalk and enjoy Australia’s natural bush setting. Older children can choose to participate in a longer and more challenging walk.

Along the way, there will be nature games for all to enjoy that will help attendees appreciate Australia.

The activity is open for children aged 6-12 years, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. The bushwalk will be along an unsealed bush track.

Organisers of school holiday events can advertise effectively with banner printing. An exciting and attractive banner is a great way to capture attention, share information, and generate interest among a wider audience.

Explore Australia – Lane Cove Bush Kids will be held on Friday, 23 January 2026. The meeting point will be at the end of 18 Panorama Road, next to Lane Cove Bushland Park, Lane Cove, NSW 2066. The activity will begin at 9:45 AM and conclude at 11:30 AM. Tickets are $11.94 for children, and adults can attend at no cost. Bookings can be made through Eventbrite.
