A journaling workshop is to be held this month in St Leonards.
The day will include instructions on how to begin writing a journal, which is often the most difficult part. Participants will be taught the basics of journaling and also how it can be beneficial to their health and well-being.
Journaling has been promoted recently as a tool to create a more positive mindset. Thoughts and feelings are written down for the purpose of self-discovery and reflection. Thoughts, feelings, memories even goals can be stated in a journal and can be a powerful way to develop self-awareness.
As well as personal journaling, the workshop aims to provide a space where participants can become creative with their writing style and learn the art of mindful writing. This type of introspective writing can become a powerful tool for self-discovery and is particularly useful to enhance the writer’s creativity and expression.
There will also be time during the workshop for some fun journaling that will be all about self-expression with particular emphasis on the interests and activities of participants on the day.
Materials required for the day will be provided. Events such as this may use promotional Pens or products.
