Students in St Leonards are preparing for the Junior & Senior Winter Holiday School, which is coming to the area in July.
Hosted by Tanya Pearson Academy, the premier ballet school in Sydney, students will enjoy a week of guidance and training from guest artist and faculty Paul Knobloch, of The Australian Ballet.
The week will include senior workshops for RAD Grade 5 and pre-professional students, which will incorporate masterclasses and a choreographic element. Junior workshops for RAD Primary Grade 4 will also feature an immersive experience with a Sleeping Beauty theme.
The program will include lessons in contemporary dance, classical ballet, flamenco, repertoire, jazz, character and more. Students will also learn the techniques and skills to perform effectively across a variety of genres.

The Junior & Senior Winter Holiday School will be held from Monday, 14 to Friday, 18 July at the Tanya Pearson Arts Centre, which can be found at 12 Frederick St in St Leonards. Tickets are priced according to the students’ age groups and the number of days attending, with discounts applied for multi-day bookings. Bookings for over three days will include a T-shirt.
