St Leonards music buffs await jazz genius

Jazz lovers will have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable night of music when much-loved trumpet player James Morrison performs in Sydney.

The “Live at the Great James Morrison Acoustic” event will also feature the Morrison Quartet. Audience members will be able to enjoy the breathtaking architecture of the Great Synagogue while they are listening to smooth jazz from the musicians. The performance is part of the “Live at the Great” concert series and will run for around 90 minutes, without an interval. Organisers of the event may have used poster printing services to display information about the concert series; St Leonards music lovers are encouraged to keep an eye out for future concert dates.

James Morrison began his musical journey when he started playing the piano at the age of six. Since then, he has also taken up the trombone, saxophone and double bass. He has played in major jazz festivals around the world and has won many awards for his musical talents. He is also an Adjunct Professor and has established his own music academy.

The James Morrison Acoustic performances will be held on Tuesday, September 12 and Wednesday, September 13 at The Great Synagogue, 187 Elizabeth Street, Sydney. The Tuesday performance starts at 7pm, while the two Wednesday performances are at 1:30pm and 7pm respectively. Ticket prices for the show start at $39.90.
