A mentoring and networking walk for women will be held next month in Sydney.
The walk is organised by Mentor Walks, and is designed to encourage and support women in their careers, whatever stage that may be.
The event will run for 1 hour and 20 minutes. The walk will begin on the steps of the Sydney Opera House, not far from St Leonards, and will take participants around the Sydney Harbour and through the Botanic Gardens.
Groups of up to three participants will be accompanied by a professional mentor, who will discuss participants’ career progression goals and any problems they are currently experiencing in their workplace. Mentors are matched with participants to align with their professional backgrounds and current career issues.
Mentors may suggest the need for updated Business Cards or Corporate Gifts to assist participants who are wanting to start a new business.
Mentor Walks exists to assist women in gaining a clearer picture of their career goals and to support them on their professional journey. Its mentors include CEOs, company directors and other inspirational businesswomen. Mentor Walks runs events across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Canada.
