September will celebrate music at major events across North Sydney, including St. Leonards, New South Wales.
The entertainment kicks off with the Backstreet Block Park over two days in Napier Street.
The events are being organised by North Sydney Council and the Australian Catholic University and, according to a spokesman for the organisers, will provide a great entertainment and fun programme to be enjoyed by the entire family.
The spokesman said the Backstreet Block Park will transform the gardens and an adjacent laneway into a unique interactive space for the two-day duration of the festival.
He said promotional Flyers for the event, to be held on September 1 and 2, list a wide range of activities including silent discos, a photography exhibition, arcade games, live art, projections and lights, together with a garden bar for craft beer, wine and cider lovers, and food vans to delight the taste buds.
The spokesman added that the month will also include a sculpture exhibition to be held from September 17 to 25, and the Sydney Running Festival on September 18.
September 25 will see live music action take place at St. Leonard’s Park, where enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a wide selection of genres including soul, funk, reggae and roots, rockabilly blues, jazz, rock and indie-pop.
Accompanying featured artists advertised on poster printing for the event are additional attractions, including oversized games to be played on the lawns, food vendors and workshops for making musical instruments with Reverse Garbage.
