Food and wine collaboration coming to St Leonards

A venue in St Leonards is set to host a unique event combining locally sourced wine and traditional family recipes.

Acclaimed Cantonese kitchen The Rice Den based in St Leonards is teaming up with the area’s Savannah Estate to create a unique experience for lovers of fine food and wine. Dubbed the “Wine Matching Dinner” the event will pair wines from the famous estate with the celebrated Cantonese cuisine of The Rice Den.

The Rice Den serves food that is inspired by Cantonese family traditional recipes, but fused with modern next-generation twists to build and enhance flavours. Its extensive menu is well-known for showcasing fresh local ingredients and focusing on share-style dishes. Restaurants serving a range of different dishes often rely on expert printing services to create attractive Menus that list all the options available to diners.

For the upcoming experience, Chef Roy of The Rice Den has collected a selection of the restaurant’s favourite Savannah Estate wines to create brand-new dishes, with each dish crafted specially to suit a different type of wine.

The Wine Matching Dinner event will now take place at The Rice Den on Thursday, May 4. The Cantonese restaurant can be found at 30-32 Chandos Street in St Leonards; the dinner will run from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

The price per diner for this event is $155 each.
