After almost 50 years in St. Leonards, the College of Law has announced plans to relocate to a comprehensive CBD location.
The move will see the existing city-based staff, located in Elizabeth Street, and the current St. Leonards operation consolidated into a single national and international head office at 570 George Street. The new premises, opposite Sydney’s Town Hall, will offer purpose-built teaching and learning spaces for students, as well as a modern, flexible office environment for staff, including collective breakout areas, modern workstations and kitchen facilities. According to Lawyers Weekly, the College of Law said that the new premises represents a commitment to the future consistent, with a:
“Modern and progressive professional education services provider on an international scale.”
Chief Executive Neville Carter said the milestone move is a welcome one after 18 months of widespread business uncertainty during the pandemic. He said the relocation represents an exciting new chapter in the rich history of the college.
