The Sydney Opera House will hold celebrations next month to commemorate its 50th birthday.
As part of the celebrations, the Opera House will hold an Open House Weekend for visitors to explore inside the World Heritage-listed venue free of charge, and observe its inspiring architecture. The route through the Opera House will take approximately 90 minutes, and St Leonards guests will be able to visit the Concert Hall and The Joan Sutherland Theatre. Brochure printing services are often used for community open days such as this, to provide guests with interesting historical facts about the venue.
Visitors will not be able to bring their own food into the Opera House, but the Opera Bar, House Canteen and Midden restaurant will be open to purchase food. There will be no cloakroom service during the weekend event, so large Bags should be left at home.
Construction on The Sydney Opera House began in 1959, with the venue opening its doors in 1973. It is the most dynamic performing arts centre in Australia history, and is a major tourist attraction.
The Sydney Opera House Open House Weekend will be held on the 21st and 22nd of October, from 9am until 4pm. While entry to the event is free, online registration is recommended due to the popularity of the event. Admission will be every hour.Get a Free Quote for Bags
