Newcastle to present UK comedy legend

British comedy royalty will be coming to Newcastle this winter as one of Monty Python’s founding members will be appearing live on stage at the Civic Theatre.

Fans of UK comedy in Newcastle will soon have a rare opportunity to see the legendary John Cleese perform live in the city. Venues presenting comedy talent often use dependable poster printing services to create a range of advertisements in different sizes for display on site.

Dubbed ‘An Evening with the Late John Cleese’, the show will allow the 83-year-old comic to discuss his afterlife experiences with the audience and inform them on what they can expect when they die. The comedian will also be entertaining his fans with exclusive clips and tales from his successful career that spans more than half a century.

His work has seen him lead many iconic productions on both the big and small screen, including Fawlty Towers on TV and The Life of Brian and A Fish Called Wanda in cinemas. His clipped English accent has also resulted in an abundance of voice work for children’s films, including Nearly Headless Nick in Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone and King Harold in the Shrek saga.

‘An Evening with the Late John Cleese’ will be presented live at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle on Friday August 11.
