Newcastle to present Australian entertainer

A much-loved artist from Australia will soon appear live in Newcastle to celebrate two decades of success in the music industry.

Those who love homegrown music in Newcastle will get a chance to see cherished Australian recording artist Shannon Noll on stage this autumn. Beloved for his honesty and everyman appeal, Noll rose to fame after becoming a runner-up on the very first series of the hit show Australian Idol. A farmhand from Condobolin, the artist affectionately known as “Nollsie” by his fans was catapulted into the spotlight launching his 20-year career.

To honour his debut studio album called “That’s What I’m Talkin’ About” Noll is releasing a special 20th Anniversary edition this year. The Newcastle show is part of a national tour to accompany the release and will feature tracks from historic first album and selected hits from his two decades in the music business.

Tour promoters often work closely with poster printing services to create colourful and eye-catching adverts for their campaigns.

A multi-platinum and ARIA-accredited artist Noll has sustained his success over the years with his material continuing to perform highly. His latest album “RAW” entered the ARIA chart and the AIR Independent Album chart directly at number one.

Shannon Noll will be in Newcastle on Friday May 17 at 309 King Street in Newcastle West. The show will begin at 8 pm.
