What's Happening in Cheyenne, WY…

Orders now being taken for Cheyenne poinsettia fundraiser

The Christmas Parade is a Cheyenne tradition that welcomes the whole community. Members of its Chamber of Commerce have been asked to show their support for the event while at the same time purchasing some floral decor for the upcoming holiday season.

Both businesses and not-for-profit groups can help to keep this holiday parade going by purchasing some poinsettias. These easy-to-care-for flowering house plants are a popular choice for a holiday decoration, and can also be given to customers and clients as a way of thanking them for their patronage.

The poinsettias can be pre-ordered up until November 2, and arrangements can be made to hand deliver plants to up to two different locations in Cheyenne. They are priced at $30 each, and a portion of this will be used to help fund the Cheyenne Christmas Parade.

A fundraising campaign like this can benefit both the business ordering the plants and the recipients of the monies. Stationery printers will be able to prepare cards with space for a handwritten message that can be included with each poinsettia or other gift, thanking the recipient for their patronage throughout the year.

The Chamber is currently accepting orders for its poinsettia sale campaign. Donations will also be most appreciated, and more details about this opportunity can be found on the event’s website.
