Ocean-themed awareness raiser on deck for Cheyenne
Since plastic waste can pollute the oceans and other waterways for many years to come, an event will be taking aim at this issue, and all Cheyenne merfolk and pirates are asked to take a stand.
Guests at the Mermaids and Pirates Benefit party will be wearing their favorite seafaring garb, and will be encouraged to have a great time while they raise awareness about the issue of the negative impact single use bags and other plastic waste has on the environment. It will be an adults only affair, and it promises to be a whole lot of fun for all those who attend the celebration.
The plans for the function include live music, and the band will be performing a selection of ‘80s favorites for the crowd. Beer and small bite style appetizers will be on offer for purchase, and an even split draw will also take place. Prizes will be awarded to the guests with the best costumes, and tickets are available now at a price of $50 each.
