Musical matinee set to return to Cheyenne
The pleasures of classical music will be showcased as part of a Cheyenne event that will bring families together to take in a program of pieces sharing a common theme.
The popular Family Matinee is back, and this time, it will have a space theme. It will include music that comes from several different movies set among the stars, and to make the occasion even more fun, there will be activities set up in the lobby for the younger guests to enjoy.
The youngsters who plan on participating are encouraged to come in costume, and their parents are also welcome to do so if they wish. Along with listening to the music, the kids will be invited to explore the different instruments that will be used in the ‘Instrument Petting Zoo’. Here, they can touch, feel, and even try out the instruments for themselves.
This opportunity for Cheyenne children to develop a lifelong love of music is open to all, and it will feature the talents of John Neurohr on the trombone. The programs and other printed items for an occasion like this can be designed by area stationery printers.
The date for this chance to enjoy a program of music set among the stars is January 26. It will be set up in the Cheyenne Civic Center.
