What's Happening in Cheyenne, WY…

Firefighter safety front and center in Cheyenne

Cheyenne’s firefighters put their own lives at risk in service to their community. A symposium that can give them information and other tools to protect their own physical, emotional and mental health is on the horizon, and this event will be bringing experts in the field in from both the USA and Canada.

The gathering, which will kick off this year’s Honoring Tradition Leading Change conference, has an agenda filled with presentations by speakers who will address a variety of topics related to health and safety. The registration fee, which is $20, includes dinner, and the event will begin at 12:00 noon.

At least seven presenters have already been booked to speak at the function, and they will address topics that range from cancer in firefighters to PTSD therapies. Emergency Responder Trauma Counselors will be among the group that will take to the podium, and there will also be time for the delegates to mingle and share their own best practices.

All of the materials needed to make the most of the occasion will be supplied to the attendees. Presentation folders, perhaps including brochures and business cards from the organizations that participate in an event like this, can be with paired promotional pens for distribution to the attendees.

The Red Lion Conference Center in Cheyenne will be hosting this event on August 22. Registration is $20, and it will remain open until August 21.
