A local park will be taking full advantage of the pleasant late spring evenings in Cheyenne.
The amphitheater in Lion’s Park will soon serve as the stage for a concert performed by the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. It will be a casual occasion, and the music will begin as dusk approaches.
The symphony will be performing an eclectic mix of pieces, with several popular genres represented. It will range from light classics to patriotic tunes and movie themes, and to help them relax in comfort, all guests are encouraged to bring portable seating such as a folding chair or blanket. There will be an assortment of food trucks parked on site so the crowd can choose their favorite meal or snack, and there is no fee being charged to join in the fun.
Many communities choose to hold outdoor event during the summer season. Banner printing options for activities held out in the fresh air will be available at local Print shops, and many can withstand being exposed to the wind and rain.
The Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra will be taking to the amphitheater on Sunday, June 9. The program will begin at 7:00 pm, and all ages are encouraged to enjoy the experience. More information and a list of other performances planned by the group can be found on its website.
